What does sex have to do with world peace?

These are my thoughts: if sexual energy or life force energy is creative and pleasurable by nature and that creativity and pleasure show up in all areas of our lives i.e. where we live, people were around and the work we do and that science tells us that it's all energy...everything, we're just a denser form of it and that when it manifests as sexual energy it creates life supporting existence ...than learning practices that allow us to consistently tap into this life force energy even in its most subtle forms... then we are better people individually and collectively supporting more fully existence.

What is interesting about the manifestation of sexual energy is that when it is present for us we are more loving, intimately connected, receptive also our chemicals change oxytocin is released, endorphins are enhanced we are very present to the moment in a loving life supporting creative way. All of this happens naturally we don't have to learn how to feel this way.  Next up is learning how to use this energy in an intelligent life supporting way.

Sexual Intelligence Part II

Continuing the conversation on "Sexual Intelligence"...This is an interesting time in history when science and spirituality are saying the same thing...We are one!  It's all energy...Energy manifests in many different ways the unique thing about sexual energy in its physical manifestation is that its creative and pleasurable.

Creativity and pleasure show up everywhere in life where we live, the people that we surround ourselves with, or the work we do. Learning practices of sex consciousness and focus working with sexual energy, creativity and pleasure start showing up as a default way of being in the simple process of living itself.

Intention: The intention of bringing something new into your life i.e., love, money, happiness, requires a lot of areas of conscious focus and awareness.  In the practice of sex consciousness in the TantraNova  approach we become more intimately familiar with feelings, emotions and energy as it manifests in its creative life force form or "Sexual Intelligence", thus creating more possibility in manifesting one's intentions in this physical reality.

Continuing to develop your observer or witness state of mind  is the first critical step in accessing Sexual Intelligence.   A meditation practice that resonates with you is  important. There are many meditation practices - active, passive,  social and sexual. Sexual meditation is probably the most difficult one to master because we are so automated  to become completely lost and swept up in the pleasure and drama.  Nothing wrong with pleasure however being conscious requires practice. One of the aspects that makes sexual meditation practice so powerful  is that physically, chemically, emotionally and spiritually we become more intimately connected, loving and vulnerable.  This allows a magnified accessibility to the unconsciousness that we bring as a backdrop to creating our intentions in this physics.

TantraNova Man Show

Aloha this is Zental!

Over this last year I've had the opportunity to travel around the country performing my one-man show "TantrNova Man"! One of the things I see is the relevance of this story to many of the people in the audiences. It has reassured me that there is something in the show that resonates in all of us....life force energy!

I named myself Zental about four years ago, it came out of the moments that I embody the highest ideals of our TantraNova practices and teachings, conscious and a full belly breath, present to this very moment of now not in my mind's illusion of a memory, a future plan, or an opinion about what's happening ... mindless consciousness creativity and joy as a way of being.

Zental is a character in my TantraNova Man show who is a Tantra teacher in Africa who in the storyline gives me my first exposure to learning how to draw on sexual energy as a pathway to creativity and joy as a fundamental way of living and being in all areas of life. The show starts with my life at the age of five through the current, good times and bad, it is a hero's journey searching for the secrets to sexual intelligence.

The show is entertaining,humorous, and full of songs and drumming at the same time educating...I like to call it edutainment ideally opening up a new possibility for the uninitiated and inspiring those who are more familiar with the path of consciousness through sexual awareness. What is new about sexual intelligence as I share it in the show is the systemic relationship of creativity and joy that is a primordial fundamental piece to sexual energy. And that one can learn practices of consciousness, focus and intention that will manifest more creativity and joy in areas of life that seemed completely unrelated to sex. One can become more intimately familiar with intimacy ... trusting what feels good and right emotionally, mentally, energetically and physically in work, life and love... allowing a fuller unique expression and contribution in the world not totally buying into the left brain rationalize suffering mind, like "well that's the way it is and there's nothing I can do".

We all have the potential to make a difference in this evolving humanity that we are ... begin and continue to make yours.

Tantra and Men

Zental here – I am bringing more light today to the relevance of Tantra for men. Tantra is essential in assisting us men in coming back to wholeness and connectedness with our heart, soul and consciousness. One of the fundamental practices for men in Tantra is learning how to separate ejaculation from orgasm. In developing more capacity in conscious breathing, muscle awareness and focus we can begin to unravel the collapse of love, romance, lust, shame, fear and guilt… just to name a few emotional collapses we have with our sexual energy.

In the beginning when I was first introduced to Tantra at the age of 15, the thing that attracted me most was being able to last longer. As I grew older and my understanding and experience in falling in and out of love became broader I became more conscious of owning my own pleasure and feelings which gave me much more freedom in experiencing and letting go. When I am in the sexual energy I am the most open, vulnerable, receptive and loving as I will ever experience in this physical form. Once I developed more capacity in consciousness, focus and my “Observer” or “witness” while in this life giving energy I was able to free myself from the bounds of my unconsciousness, ego attachment and my survival mind. I also got to see and let go old stories and interpretations that no longer served me. In the process I have recognized the intelligence of sexual energy as indicated in creativity, joy and pleasure and how this flows into other areas of my life that seem completely unrelated to sexual energy.

Through practicing Tantra as a man I have discovered more capacity in sinking into that vulnerable, receptive and loving state that happens while being present to my sexual energy. This state of being can be described as “feminine” and the recognition of it has assisted me to be more fully grounded in my “masculine”. This in turn has created more space for my partner to dance in her feminine.
