Summer 2013 Empowerment Camp for Teens

We are thrilled to announce our Summer 2013 Empowerment Camp for Teens. If you have a teenager at the ages 12-14 or 15-18 and live in the Chicagoland area, then you may want to consider this summer program for him or her.

The objective of the program is for teens to learn to create authentic self-expression and leadership in their life, experience peace and love within themselves and build enjoyable relationships with others.

To Teens 12-14 years old:

The BringForth Youth Program is a fun and interactive way to explore the different twists and turns of the roller coaster and learn skills to help you enjoy the ride! Meditation and breathing exercises used in the program will let you relax and feel good in your body and mind. You will use them again throughout your life to help you when you get ready for a big test, dealing with disappointing news, or going on a first date. In the workshop, you will play games, act out role plays, listen to music, make your own collage, and make new friends.

The camp will let you discover and share your own unique passions and interests that make you who you are! Knowing who you are and how you feel is an important step to how you interact with friends, parents, and teachers.  Teen life can be challenging, but through BringForthYouth's summer camp you can discover your own strengths that will allow you to enjoy each moment and have as much fun as possible! To Teens 15-18 years old: 

In this youth program you can explore and focus your ambitions and talents. You will have the chance to make meaningful connections with others through partner and group exercises and guided discussion. The skills learned through the BringForthYouth program can become important tools to help with challenges, stress, relationships, and problem solving. The program aims to empower teens to unlock the potential of who they wish to be and help them start to create their vision.

"Raging Hormones" is a term that many adults use to describe the teenage reaction to feelings of anger, depression, and sexual feelings. The term can sound like the hormones and feelings are out of control and take over your body during your teenage years. But you can as a teen learn to manage your reaction to the changes in your mind and body. This summer camp can help give you empowerment and mastery of choice and freedom over body, mind, and emotions. Learn to tap into your own being and get a sense of who you are and where you want to go because you have the power to do so. Freddy Zental and I returned from a most enchanting and inspiring workshop retreat that we lead at Kripalu Yoga Retreat Center in Western Massachusetts over the New Year's holiday. A dream come true working with over 50 participants, couples and singles. We felt like on a beautiful smooth ride through the exploration into deeper intimate connection with oneself and partner through foundational TantraNova principles and practices.

Overlooking the lake and snowy hills from the veranda of Kripalu's main building that used to be a Jesuit monastery in one of its former lifetimes was a treat in itself. A destination worth traveling to if you are so inclined.

Entering 2013 you may be considering a renewal in your relationship, creating a new relationship or opening deeper avenues in the relationship with yourself, then this may be a great moment to explore the different offerings we have at TantraNova to be supported in your pursuit.
